ACTION NEEDED: VA Decides Not to Delay Silica Rule The Virginia Department of Labor has decided not to delay enforcement of the Silica standard in accordance with OSHA's delay. Today, NUCA of Virginia sent a letter to the office of Commissioner C. Ray Devenport, asking them to reconsider. We also sent letters to Delegates Kathy Byron, Terry Gilmore and Senate Chairman Frank Wagner in hopes of their support. Early this morning, Delegate Byron sent her own letter of support to
